When software to assist us in the construction of our reflectors and fixtures wasn't available, we wrote our own.

Running in AutoCad™, our custom applications allow us to build our lighting components based on specific lighting requirements. Our complete ray-tracing program tells us immediately if the light is distributed optimally.
Using only a three-dimensional computer model and Photopia™ software, we can accurately predict the performance of a conceptual design before any metal is bent.

Photopia™ provides a full photometric analysis (including an IES file), removing the guess work from new product development.

How many foot-candles can I expect? This is the question most people want answered and one which ESI is very equipped to handle. Regardless if the photometric data is generated in Photopia™ or is from an independent lab, we have the tools and experience to predict exactly how our systems will perform.

What if numbers aren't enough? For some projects, point-to-point foot-candle readings just don't tell the whole story. For these cases, ESI can provide photo-realistic renderings. Talk about removing the guess work! By utilizing renderings you not only know how a system will perform, you can peek into the future and see exactly how it will look.
